Redefine Your Personal Time

Meet the Staff of Skyward

Susan K. Corrado

Office Manager

In 1993, Sue joined her husband, Ron, in pursuing his dream of building Skyward Aviation.  Prior to that, Sue was a stay-at-home mom and had also held jobs in banking.  Her hobbies include cooking, reading, exercising, and spending time with family and friends.  Something you may not know about Sue: "I am a vegan and haven't eaten meat since I was 12 years old," says Sue, "I also shared a box with Mel Blount at a Steelers game!"  Her key to success is "Organization!  My family says I'm like 'Monk'!"  Since running a charter company is 24/7, Sue's burning desire is "to someday sleep 8 hours each night!"

Ronald A. Corrado

Ron founded Skyward Aviation in 1993 with his wife, Susan.  Previously, he was a maintenance and training officer for an attack helicopter battalion for the United States Army, where he served for over 21 years. Ron's hobbies include flying, rebuilding his Nova, and spending time with family and friends.  Ron says his key to success is "my wife, hard work, dedication, and integrity."  His favorite thing to do after a long day is "anything that keeps my mind off of work!"  Although he loves the challenges of owning his own business, his burning desire is "to someday be a customer!"

Although she "officially" joined Skyward Aviation in 2008, Brianna has been a part of the company since her parents founded it in 1993.  Brianna has a degree in Studio Art from Allegheny College and enjoys bringing her creativity to SA.  The self-proclaimed "Charter Diva,"  Brianna's favorite part of her job is getting to know her clients.  Her key to success is "cute shoes and a positive attitude!"  As an avid home cook, her main hobby these days is feeding her always hungry husband, Steven (Learjet Captain), and hosting family parties.  Her burning desire is "to get rich quick and buy a private jet for Skyward Aviation to manage!"

Michele Wieser

Michele joined Skyward Aviation in 2013 as the face of our marketing and sales, however her greater role in Skyward Aviation began well before it was founded. Over 30 years ago, Michele and her husband, Rick (deceased), were responsible for setting up a blind date between Skyward Aviation owners, Ron and Sue Corrado. If it weren't for that date, SA wouldn't be here today! When not playing matchmaker, you can find Michele riding motorcycles (she has her license), camping, traveling, and enjoying the outdoors! "I feel my key to success is that I genuinely care for people and want to make a difference in everyone's day, even if it is giving them a smile!"

Joshua J. Ferry

Director of Maintenance

In 2007, Josh joined the Skyward Aviation team.  Previously, he worked as an aircraft mechanic with another company and as a tech inspector at Keystone Raceway.  When he's not turning a wrench, you can find Josh weightlifting, playing sports, or walking his dogs.  Something you may not know about Josh is "I was a WPIAL all-star in soccer and I used to be a body builder until I realized that I like cheeseburgers and wings!"  His burning desire is "to own a 1997 Dodge Viper GTS."

Sharon L. Henry

Executive Assistant

Sharon joined Skyward Aviation after 18 years of being a stay-at-home mom and raising her two children.  Before working at SA, Sharon also held jobs as a truck dispatcher and horse trainer.  Having grown up on a farm, it is no surprise that her hobbies include target hunting and shooting "big" guns.  "After a long day, I like to set up a bail of hay and shoot 100 rounds of ammo off my front porch!"  Aside from shooting hay, her burning desire is "to appear on the TLC show Hoarders and pitch everyone's clutter!"
